    Many people will call or take it in to a repair shop sadly to hear that it will cost them close to the same amount of a new tv or in some cases more. What many people are unaware of is that fixing a damaged part within the TV may save you from having to give up your beloved Flat Screen TV and having to dig deep in your pockets to buy a new one. That is why electronic repair stores usually make a lot of money. They profit from the parts you have to buy through them and then they profit again on the labor they charge you for installing the replaced parts. It’s a win-win situation for them.

    Luckily there is a great solution to your dilemma.
    I actually started a business based on the fact that I was sick and tired of getting ripped off by repair companies and sought out a better solution then having to go out and spend an extra 1000 to 2000 dollars on a new flat screen TV when the one I had was easily repairable. Now what most people do when buying a new TV from a store is they buy a 1 or 2 year warranty plan so if anything goes wrong you won’t go through the trouble of having to buy a new one or call the manufacturer you would simply go to the store and exchange it for a brand new one or the warranty company tales care of it for you. But what do you do after that warranty runs out and you turn on your TV one day to hear a weird buzzing noise or it just blinks with funny light and no picture?

    For example: The Power Source on every TV is a separate part that does a few things but the main function is to power up the TV. Within the power supply board itself is many little parts that can sometimes go bad or short circuit to put in laymen’s terms. You could either try and test every single circuit on the board which takes forever and replace only that piece which is the cheapest but many times the lengthiest and if you don’t own equipment to test or have no idea how to perform the test this is not an option.

    The second and most recommended route would to simply get your TV model number, get the part number for the TV Power Supply itself or whatever part has failed and then simply find a dealer or parts center that has that part in stock. When I followed that route I came to a simple conclusion; much like fixing a car without a warranty. I was shocked to hear the costs to simply replace one part and pay a repairman for the hours to do so. I heard the all familiar line “You are better off buying a new TV”. Hogwash I thought. There has got to be a easier way to salvage my beloved flat screen TV…

    I started my TV Parts biz based solely on this fact, that the TV manufacturers SONY, SAMSUNG, LG, TOSHIBA, SHARP, Etc. all make a KILLING when it comes to fixing your TV when parts go bad which after a year or two they usually do. If you happen to browse through the websites of the above mentioned dealers you will find that many times the smallest part for a TV can run you hundreds of dollars. Just like when you take you car into the dealer to get maintenance done and they tell you that a tiny sensor went bad and your warranty doesn’t cover it and you have to fork over $600 Dollars to order it or you car will never work again. Hah! For a Flat Screen or Big Screen TV that costs you 1,000 bucks to purchase a year ago will now costs you anywhere from 500 to 800 to replace any ONE new part in the TV when you include parts, labor, and taxes into the mix.

    NO Way was I going to pay that amount for a single part. So after going through that issue I decided to locate a couple shops that were local and online with broken TV’s and cracked screens etc and started a TV replacement parts program that would benefit everyone. I luckily was able to find the part at an online electronics store that had the part I needed from a cracked TV that was in brand new condition. It ended up costing me 99 Bucks. I saved hundreds of dollars and then it gave me the idea of starting an online shop that could help the hundreds of people out there that were in the same situation as I was in.
